Why We Love The My Little Pony Applejack Activity Barn
My husband and I had been on the lookout for some playsets for toddlers when we stumbled across the My Little Pony Applejack Activity Barn. We seen it in our local toy shop a few days before Christmas but it is available for as cheap online. It is difficult to find MLP toys for 2 year old girls so I jumped at this and bought it as a suprise for our little one. Our daughter Amelia loves it and so we have come to the conclusion it is one of the best toys for 18 month old girls! I have taken lots of close up pictures for you to see how much fun it is for yourself!
The My Little Pony Applejack Toy comes with everything you need
What I really love about this is that it is one of the best playsets for toddlers! I found lots of great sets for toddler boys but none for toddler girls until I seen this one! Of course my toddler boy loves it too, especially the Applejack figure and car.
Playskool Friends My Little Pony Applejack Activity Barn
My Little Pony toys for girls are hugely popular and this Playskool playset is no different! It comes with a brightly colored barn, a small car and 2 MLPs (Pinkie Pie and Applejack).
Two figures are a good size for tiny hands to pick up and hold onto (my 14 month does this all the time)
Applejack and Pinkie Pie can go on the swing together, or ride in the car together.
The roof of the barn can be lowered to make a ‘slide’ or ramp for the car to ride down or the ponies to slide down individually.
My 2 year old can easily open and close the roof to make the ramp.
The yellow circle above the swing turns around and makes a clicking sound!
Key Learning Points from My Little Pony Applejack Activity Barn
I love reviewing the top learning toys for toddlers that are fun at the same time. While the My Little Pony Applejack Activity Barn is good fun it also provides some learning opportunities.
-
- Fine Motor Skills – good for younger toddlers. My 14 month old still struggles to place the ponies on the swing or in the car but my 30 month old manages this without any issues.
- Imagination and creativity – good for older toddlers. Amelia loves to take the ponies a ride down the ramp and out in the car to her pretend supermarket, before returning them to their swing before dinner time.
- Colors – Amelia is able to tell me that Applejack is orange with a yellow mane and Pinkie Pie is pink.
My Little Pony toys are a huge hit with both my toddler and niece! Find even more below! Of course I plan on reviewing some others too so please stay tuned!
