Best Baby Toys 6 to 12 Months
Being the Mother of a little girl and Baby Boy I am the best person to give advice on the top rated baby toys 6 to 12 months. There are thousands of toys out there, some which are fabulous and others which well are not worth the money. I have watched my kids play and know what ones are best. These are both fun, excellent value for money and fabulous baby learning toys. This 6 month period is a very important developmental stage for babies. During this time they will learn to crawl, sit up and say their first word. They might even start walking. The best baby toys I have selected reflect this.
Without further ado please find my top 4 infant learning toys for 6 to 12 months.
Fisher Price Jumperoo – Best Baby Toys 6 to 12 Months
This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE of all the top rated baby toys 6 to 12 months! It may be the most expensive but it is a godsend!
Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo
Any Mother knows that it is difficult to keep babies occupied and entertained when they cannot sit up by themselves and play independently. Whenever your baby hits 6/7 months and outgrows their bouncer you will want a toy to entertain them without you having to hold them up and this is it! I can put Rhys in his jumperoo to free my hands whenever I want a cup of coffee or am making the dinner or doing some cleaning! He loves it not to mention the fact that it is one of the great stimulating sensory toys for infants! It enhances his gross motor skills so that his legs will be strong enough for him when he starts walking in a few months time plus the bouncing keeps him active.
Nuby Icybite Teething Keys
Rhys was lucky enough to have the Nuby Icybite teething keys bought to him when he was a few weeks old. Obviously he did not use it straight away but now I make sure he always has it to hand or should I say mouth! Probably the best thing about this is the fact that it can go in the fridge and the coolness really soothes babies gums.
The bright colors provide excellent sensory stimulation and the individual teething keys are great for babies fine motor skills. Fabulous gift and cheap too at only a few dollars!
Vtech Wiggle and Crawl Ball
Balls for crawling are fabulous, in fact my 2 year old still loves her Vtech crawl ball! These are so much more than crawling toys as they have lots of stimulating learning features for babies as well as toddlers!
The crawl ball spins away from baby encouraging them to chase after it! Lights and over 45 sounds keep your infants attention.
Good toy that promotes language development as infants learn words and colors.
Even More Best Baby Toys 6 to 12 Months
Baby learning toys 6 to 12 months shown below are also amongst my tried and tested top picks of best infant toys. I would not have been without my Vtech Sit Stand Walker. Eventually your little crawling rockstar wants to get on their feet so you really need a walker! Take your pick and buy in blue for boys or pink/lavender for girls! Like most of the best infant toys 6 to 12 months this has stacks of learning features and is perfect for honing fine motor as well as gross motor skills.
All babies love a cute electronic teddy. Amelia has her Fisher Price Laugh Learn Puppy and Rhys has Vtech Little Singing Alfie. I marginally prefer Alfie has he is smaller and can easily be attached to Rhys stroller and car seat meaning he always has his little buddy alongside him!
Please remember this is only my 2 cents and other people’s babies might enjoy different toys.
