I cannot believe how much fun these are! They are definitely one of the must buy Christmas girl toys. The last time I went to visit my niece Kimmy she talked me into playing Connect 4. This was my favorite board game as a child so I was looking forward to challenge her! We played for an hour and I have to confess I am a bad Auntie because I won every time, I guess I should have let her win at least one game! Such a fabulous game and it is so cheap to buy! If you are gonna buy one of the best toys for a 6 year old girl this needs to be it!
Connect 4 Game

This is one of the awesome 6 year old girl toys that will really make you think! I I played with my niece and although I won every game by the end of the time we played I could see she was really using her brain to try and stop me getting four in a row.

Initially I noticed she was concentrating on herself and getting 4 of her color lined up as opposed to keeping an eye on what I was doing. I kept telling her to be careful and look at where I placed my coins. Eventually she was taking her time to place her marker and looking where I had put mine.

I am guessing it will not be long before she can beat me at this board game!
