If you are like me leaving all your shopping to the last minute you will be glad of these ideas for Christmas Eve box for toddlers. Best of all they are affordable and would likely be things you will end up buying your 2 year old anyway. This year is the first year I am thinking of toddler Christmas Eve box! I have not overspent on Christmas this year but as I am now a SAHM I need to be more careful and sensible with my money, hence my frugal picks. I know my two year old will love what I have selected.
No fancy lists here just a few small Christmas Eve box ideas that cost a few dollars!
Remember that you will need a box. I have seen lots of pretty ones in stores, but I decided to recycle a used toy box and make my own. Why would I pay a few dollars when I can make one for cheap. Basically I wrapped a square toy box with some My Little Pony Wrapping Paper (Amelia loves ponies right now). Wrapping paper was a £1 from local Poundland. I then went to Canva, added some Christmas bells and my daughter’s name in a fancy font, printed it off and stuck it to the front of the box.
What’s in my Toddler Christmas Eve Box?
Now that you have the box you need to start filling it. Remember low budget items are just as good. Your local dollar store if you are in the US, or Poundland if you are in the UK is the best place to do this for cheap. I did go to Asda (Walmart in US) for Pjs because I knew what I wanted or rather what Amelia wanted. I was able to grab all of this stuff in less than an hour so it is perfect for busy Moms like me!
I bought some Reindeer food or rather my Mum bought it from our local Christmas market. It was £1 for a two bags so I have left a bag away for next year!
A personalized Santa Stop Here sign – this also cost £1 but was well worth more as Amelia was so impressed by it! We stuck it to our front door.
My Little Pony Pajamas from Asda (most expensive item costing £6)-
Bag of mini Chocolate Santas that Amelia has been eyeing up all month. These were only 50p. I had to make sure she doesn’t eat them all at once.
Christmas Plate and Glass – here again some favorites from Poundland. We will leave the plate with Santa’s mince pie and glass with orange juice. I have picked some with a picture of Santa and Rudolph this year. These were 50 pence each!
Christmas Book to read before bed – I went to my discount book store- and paid £1 for This is actually a good idea for stocking stuffers for toddler girls and boys!

I think I have come up with a frugal way to put together a Toddler Christmas Eve box because I have done a rough calculation and it is around £10!
